The highlights...

  • Suitable for marathon and sprint racing in middle divisions
  • A great choice for the developing paddler
  • Streamlined for effortless paddling on flat water
  • Two 2-pin seat heights available so you the boat can be adapted as your skills develop
  • Spacious cockpit to accommodate paddlers of all sizes

A top-selling favourite for club and personal use. This accomplished Kirton design strikes the perfect balance between speed and stability, and bridges the gap between the Talisman and our faster designs. The Tor is an efficient racing craft that also offers a steady platform for developing paddlers and mature experienced paddlers alike. The efficient gently v’eed hull shape also has the added benefits of inherent stiffness and low surface area, allowing us to create a significantly lighter boat, compared to Kirton’s most stable options.

A low seat is provided as standard with the Tor for improved stability, but a high 2-pin or universal seat is available on request for those looking for an improved paddling position and greater challenge. Alternatively a platform seat can be fitted for a true racing position. The spacious cockpit can accommodate paddlers of all sizes but a portage bar is recommended if the front of the cockpit is beyond comfortable reach.

Contact

Give us a call or send an email if you have any questions. After all, that's what we're here for! We won't sell you anything you don't need. We just want you to be in the right boat.

Deposit

We'll need a minimum 10% deposit to secure your build slot. Do this as soon as possible to prevent delays to your order. The deposit may be paid by bank transfer or card.

Choices

We can only start your build once we have your final specification, so don’t delay too long. The choices can be overwhelming so please ask if you are unsure about anything.

Payment

We will give you a call or send an email when your boat is ready for collection. Full payment should be made before the boat leaves the factory, but you can look the boat over first.

Collect

Shipping kayaks is pricey so you'll probably want to collect the boat from our Devon factory. We can often deliver to the canoeing events we attending too.
